The house itself is furnished to a very high standard with extensive use of antique pine, its spacious accommodation can sleep up to 8 comfortably and a cot can be provided if there should be a baby. The house is carpeted throughout and has a fully fitted pine dining room and well equipped kitchen which includes fridge, freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven, washing machine and tumble dryer. The spacious comfortable sitting room has suite, colour TV and video recorder for your relaxation. Each floor has two bedrooms with a bathroom and toilet on each level and the house is heated throughout by full electric central heating with total control. Also for your safety, the Cabrach is fitted with smoke detectors and also has a first aid box, fire extinguisher and torch. The house also provides private off-road parking for up to four cars and is a five minute walk from the friendly local pub and hotel, with a grocers shop and a small village a further five minutes walk away, also within a few minutes drive are two award winning country restaurants.
Surrounding area: The Cabrach is ideally placed to use as a touring base for exploring the Highlands and North East of Scotland, as well as lovely Perthshire and being only thirty minutes drive from the charming fishing villages and white sandy beaches dotted around the Morayshire coastline, you really have so much at your doorstep. Strathspey really has so much to offer in the way of attractions, including the Landmark Centre at Carrbridge, the Waltzing Waters of Newtonmore, the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig and the Strathspey steam railway at Boat of Garten with its other well-known inhabitants, the Loch Garten Ospreys. There is also a good selection of challenging golf courses and opportunities for hill walking and climbing, canoeing, sailing, wind surfing, go-carting, clay pigeon shooting, pony trekking, tennis and skiing to name but a few.
Additional notes: The house with its large well kept garden provides outdoor furniture where you can sit and relax, to enjoy some peace and quiet, or set of into the bordering forest for a pleasant stroll amongst the trees and wildlife, perhaps to take a meander along the banks of the beautiful river Dulnain.
