About Ecosse Unique Holiday Cottages - Treasure Island Cottage: Treasure Island Cottage is a small and compact, very attractively-converted semi-detached old stone cottage situated quietly near the centre of Braemar, and is the house where Robert Louis Stevenson wrote some of his famous book 'Treasure Island' way back in 1881 - but is now completely modernised, with a large (shared) safe garden.
