About Commercial Hotel: The Commercial Hotel is a small family run hotel situated in the picturesque and historic village of Burghead on the Moray coast. Burghead is the site of the largest Pictish fort ever found in Scotland and is home to the "Burning of the Clavie", an annual fire festival held on the 11th January. Stuart and Marie took over ownership of the Hotel in April 2003 and have since carried out extensive cosmetic work throughout to enhance the facilities and make the stay of visitors a much more enjoyable experience.
