About Roeberry House: Big Victorian country house that dominates the skyline, on a short rise above a bay with sandy beach and rockpools. Two B&B rooms are up their own stair, with private equipped kitchenette, cinema room, and access. KING ROOM: king size bed, full en-suite, and sea views. TWIN ROOM (convertible SUPERKING): en-suite shower/sink, private loo across corridor, sea views. 100% cotton linens, feather duvets and pillows, radios, quilts. Big film and reading library. Lovely gardens in 4 walled acres, for picnics and strolling. Amazing views across Widewall Bay to Switha, Hoy, Flotta, and Scapa Flow.

Prices range from: £50 to £70 Per room

Surrounding area: St Margaret's Hope, under 2 miles, easily accessible by car, foot, bicycle (borrow one!), has shops, gallery, pottery, harbourside inn with good beer and fish and chips. Tomb of the Eagles 6 miles, one of the best Orcadian Neolithic sites. Cross the 4 Churchill Barriers to Kirkwall (25 mins). Italian Chapel 15 minutes. Skara Brae and Ring of Brogar 40 minutes. Wonderful walks right out of the gate.
