About Pyleigh Cottage: The cottage dating from the late 18th century has full gas-fired central heating and is able to sleep six in two upstairs bedrooms (one double & one twin) and a bed-sitting room downstairs. In the sitting room is an open fire, television/DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen (microwave, gas cooker, washing machine, and fridge/freezer) opens off the dining/sitting room and has a gas fire as well as a radiator. The large bathroom is on the ground floor with bath, toilet and electric shower. There is a telephone for incoming and local calls. Fully carpeted throughout.

A walled patio to the front of the cottage with outdoor furniture, ideal for sunbathing/relaxing etc. Parking is at the front.

With no steps on the ground floor the cottage is suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Prices range from: £260 to £420 Per Week

Surrounding area: Founded by Royal Charter in 1220 Nairn, population 11,000, has two main beaches both two minutes walk from the cottage; as well as miles of sandy beaches extending east to the Royal Society for Protection of Birds Reserve and beyond to Culbin Forest & Nature Reserve.
The Harbour, marina and river mouth are also two minutes walk away at the edge of Fishertown. Trips to see the unique Moray Firth Dolphins run regularly from the harbour (one of only two colonies in the UK!); they can also be seen from many vantage points along the shore.

Nairn is also fortunate in having two championship Golf courses (both beside the sea) one a few minutes walk from the cottage!

Close to the beach and cottage is Links park – promenade, playground, cricket pitch, putting green, swimming pool.

Nairn is ideal as a touring centre being close to the Grampian Mountains and Aviemore, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Findhorn Foundation, Culloden Battlesite, Inverness, The Speyside Whisky Trail, Cromarty & the Black Isle.
