About Cairnryan House : Traditional home built 1894, family run, convenient for the ferry to Northern Ireland just 400 metres away with uninterrupted view across Loch Ryan. You can watch the P & O Cairnryan to Larne ferry and Stena ferry and HSS which sail to Belfast from Stranraer, a five minute drive away, sail by in front of your window!. Off-road parking for up to ten vehicles.

Our accommodation comprises 2 luxury double rooms, 1 standard double with queen size bed, 2 family rooms sleeping 2 adults + 1 child, another 2 sleeping 2 adults and 2 children, 3 twin rooms and 2 single rooms.

For business stopovers, our Guest Lounge has internet access and some of our rooms also have a working desk.

Prices range from: £30 to £70 Per Room

Surrounding area: If you are holidaying in the area, we have a good local knowledge, numerous leaflets on Stranraer, adjoining Ayrshire and on Belfast and Antrim if like many tourists who stay with us, you are taking in a day trip to Ireland as many of our guest do.

Within a short drive of Cairnryan are a number of beautiful gardens protected by the warm gulf stream that frequents the area, forest walks and nature reserves.

A Royal Society for the Protection of Birds member we are just five minutes walk to the bird watching area at Cairn Point frequented by many seeking a view of the King Eider and other rare seabirds.

We are in the centre of Cairnryan.

The nearest train station is Stranraer and it is 4 mile(s) away.

The nearest airport is Prestwick and it is 30 mile(s) away.

Additional notes: Guests are welcome to sit in our front garden, or relax by the fire in our licensed restaurant that serves drinks, lunches and afternoon teas.
