About Heathbank House: Heathbank House is a family run Guest House / Bed & Breakfast located in Scotland's biggest National Park in the Highlands of Scotland. We are rated at 3 stars by our National Tourist board and have won a silver award for our environmental practices. We have featured in the inflight magazine of Easyjet.com, and been voted in a National newspaper as one of Scotland's favourite B&B's. We have a dining room in a Charles Rennie Mackintosh style. The chairs are over 5 feet at the back. Meals are carefully prepared, using where possible, local ingredients from the surrounding farms and estates. You may dine on locally caught fish, venison from the hills or salmon smoked nearby. We are licensed to serve alcohol and stock wines, beers and spirits, including a range of whiskies. We have two residents lounges, each with it's own style. One has an Italian marble fire place where our guests like to sit and enjoy a dram in front of the open fire on the Italian leather furniture. Leaflets are available in the other lounge, with a range of guide books and other information. Our rooms are all ensuite, and individually decorated. Two have four poster beds for romantic getaways. With views over the golf course and the Cairngorm mountains, these rooms are something special. All the rooms have TVs, hair dryers, radios, alarm clocks, guest information folders, and finally, tea and coffee making facilities as standard.
