The energetic can enjoy the coastal path as well as miles of traffic free walking along the Speyside Way.
The historical town of Elgin offers good shopping and leisure facilities as well as the historical site of Elgin Cathedral. Castle and whisky trails nearby.
Golfers are also well catered for with many superb courses locally, which are open to visitors.
If fishing is your sport, Trout, Salmon and Sea fishing are also available within easy reach with the Spey within 4 miles this can be arranged locally. Use the time in the cottage to completely unwind, Reiki & Reflexology courses can be arranged locally with a qualified person.

During your stay, enjoy your own dolphin watch from the beach at Portgordon or along the coast. Ensure you bring own binoculars. Dolphin watching trips can be arranged locally in Buckie at the harbour.
Portgordon facilities include, small supermarket, Post Office & pubs within walking distance of the cottage. The town of Buckie is 2miles away for larger shops and restaurants. With Inverness & Aviemore a 40min drive.

Basket of logs supplied for multifuel fire additional logs can be purchased at the local Post Office.
