About The INN Guest House: Situated on the waterfront of the picturesque village of St Mary's in the parish of Holm (pronounced Ham), the INN was originally built in the 1830's as an Inn for the farmers to stay in whilst waiting for the boats to the South Isles after a day at market.

Now a three star guest house, it has been refurbished to a high standard with spacious rooms, all of which are en-suite. Most of our rooms have views over Holm Bay with the Churchill Barriers and Italian Chapel in the background.

We are situated on the main bus route to Kirkwall from both the Pentland Ferries and John O'Groat's Ferries crossings. Kirkwall is just a 10 minute drive away making our location an ideal base for your Orkney holiday, a short stay or business trip.

Our breakfast menu is varied with local produce used whenever possible. Special diets catered for on request.

You can enjoy your breakfast in our comfortable, spacious dining room whilst taking in the views over the bay.

Packed lunches can be supplied on request.

In the evening, you can relax in the lounge and watch Sky TV on the large plasma screen. DVD's and books are also available or take a stroll around the St. Mary's circular walk to see the nature and wildlife.
The Commodore bar and restaurant is only a 10 minute walk away for a well recommended meal or relax with a drink at their bar.

Prices range from: £20 to £40 Per Person

We are in the centre of Holm.

The nearest airport is Kirkwall Airport and it is 6 mile(s) away.
