About Caithness & Sutherland Walking Festival: The festival is one of the few in Scotland, which can offer guided walks of forests, coasts, mountains and the famous flow country. Some walks are themed around Pultneytown (historical) and Yarrow (archaeological). Climb the most northerly Munro with our expert, well qualified guide or explore the forests with the Forestry Commission.
Superb walking in the far north of Scotland. The area offers rolling countryside rather than the great chasms, the coastline is superb with cliffs 100m high. Archaeology, geology, history - Caithness has it all, most of it undiscovered!
The area is remote but easily reachable by public transport or road. It is an undiscovered niche - you won’t find lots of people here, but scenery has to be seen to be believed!
