These beautiful remains of a Cistercian monastery founded in 1218 are definitely worth a visit. They are situated about 1.5 miles from Mintlaw and are best appreciated in the light of the setting sun.

April to September: 9.30am to 6.30pm every day.
October to March: 9.30am to 4.30pm every day.
