This magnificent castle dates from the 12th century and is situated in a beautiful wooded park. The Gordon Family added to the castle in the 16th and 17th centuries. Highly impressive architectural details are clear. Explanatory displays, cellar dungeons, gift shop, picnic area and parking available.
Opening Times Open all year.
Summer: 25 March - 30 September: Monday - Sunday 9.30am - last entry 6.00pm (closes at 6.30pm)
Winter: 1 October - end March: Saturday - Wednesday, 9.30am - last entry 4.00pm (closes 4.30pm). Closed Thursday and Friday.
Closed 25th, 26th December and 1st, 2nd January.
