Two lines of standing stones facing each other at a distance of about 41m and lying 29m from Ballymeanoch cairn. One line consists of four stones graded in height, the tallest being 4.1m high.
Two of the stones are decorated with cup marks. The other line consists of two stones, the tallest of which is 3m high. Originally another decorated stone stood in this line, but this fell and was broken in the late 19th century. and the stump has now been removed. The two stones making up the second line were probably both set vertically originally. Over time it is quite common for stones to begin to lean over and occasionally fall.
Excavation Details
The stump of the fallen stone was excavated and removed in 1977.
Finds
Patches of cremated bone.
