About The Loch Ness Exhibition Centre: The Loch Ness Centre was established in 1980 and has long been one of Scotland’s most popular Visitor Attractions. The 5 Star rated Exhibition designed and narrated by foremost authority and naturalist Adrian Shine gives visitors a deeper understanding of the special things about Loch Ness that you cannot see by looking at it. Whilst keeping the mystery of the monster centre stage, the story is told from the ice age to the present day through 7 themed chambers. Description of surrounding area and town: When arriving from Inverness on the A82 trunk road you will see signs for The Loch Ness Centre on approach. However, if you are coming from The Fort William side through the quaint village of Drumnadrochit, do not be misled or confused, make sure that you turn right over the Drumnadrochit Bridge and look out for the Official 5 Star VisitScotland logos.Additional notes: The Loch Ness Centre was opened in 1980 and was the first ever Exhibition to be publicly opened in Drumnadrochit.
