About Point NorthWest: Point NorthWest will whisk to explore the most stunning parts of the North West Highlands. Operating from the village of Ullapool in the North West Highlands we offer you the opportunity to explore our stunning landscapes, discover our secretive wildlife, enjoy our facinating history.

We offer the Weekend Explorer from September 2006 to March 2007.
Winter Hill Walking mid -week to March 2007.
From April we will be offering day tours and walks from leaving daily from Ullapool.

Surrounding area: Ullapool is the gateway village to the North West Highlands and the Western Isles. The slogan adopted by the Ullapool Tourism and Business Association is 'Things happen in Ullapool'. A wide range of comfortable accomadation is available to suit all budgets and when not out and about exploring with Point NorthWest you can enjoy good food, pubs and entertainment in the village.

The North West Highlands is Scotland's real best kept secret. Stunning landscapes, home to wonderful wildlife. Additional notes: Bookings for the Weekend Explorer and Day tours are made through VisitScotland's Tourist Information Office in Ullapool. Winter Hillwalking is booked directly through Point NorthWest.

Small groups (maximum 7) ensures personal attention. You can book as an individual, a pair or group.
This includes mid-morning and afternoon refreshments, professional guiding and wildlife viewing equipment.
