Step 1
The drop-down selection boxes are located to the left of this tutorial, they look like the image to the
right of this (Image 1). At first all options are empty i.e. Scotland, Select Area & No Towns Available,
if this is not the case then please select Scotland which will clear all selections.
To list towns in an area: Click on the down arrow
situated at the right of the available selection in Select Area. See image below (Image 2).
Step 2
In this example we have our mouse cursor over the Highlands & Skye, once you have found your preferred area
click the mouse to confirm your selection. From here we can search each category: tour, stay, food, golf, history, walks, events,
services or guides. To select a category, click on the buttons located at the top of the page
or
click on the selected category search button see image below (Image 4)Step 4. Alternatively we can now select a town that is
located in the selected area. See image below (Image 3).
Step 3
The process for selecting a town is the same as for area Step 2 that was covered above, find a town listed in the selected area click on your mouse to confirm selection
and search each of the available categories. When you are in a particular category the search button located under the drop-down selection boxes will detail this,
see image below (Image 4). To switch between category use the buttons located at the top of the page, which was covered above Step 2. Alternatively you can use the
interactive map, when an area/town is selected the drop-down selection will also be updated to reflect where you are in Scotland.
Step 4
This is the search button, which can change between all categories.
