Nestled on the shores of Lochbroom, Ullapool is the most populated town in the Northwest of Scotland. The Ullapool Leisure Centre is the focal point for indoor activities in the village. Here you will find the swimming pool as well as tennis courts and indoor facilities for ball hockey and bowling. There are three golf courses in the area for those who like to tee off on vacation in addition to the 9–hole course in Ullapool.
Just 7 miles south of Ullapool, you can visit the Lael Forest Garden with its unusual shrubs and plants and just 12 miles east will take you to the spectacular Corrieshalloch Gorge. Visit the nearby villages and take in the beauty of the Highlands.
