The Airds Hotel and Restaurant: An 18th century ferry inn converted to a small luxury hotel. The Airds offers luxury decor, first class service and cuisine to 3 Rosette standard (AA grading). Port Appin is a picturesque hamlet spread along the southern shore of Loch Linnhe roughly mid way between Oban and Fort William. The Airds offers stunning views across the loch towards the Morvern Mountains beyond and this is particularly noticeable in the Restaurant (open to non residents for lunch and dinner) where the large picture windows provide for a particularly beautiful setting. The garden, with its beautiful borders, also benefits from the spectacular view and makes a lovely spot for tea, coffee or a light lunch.
