9 Kilbrandon Cottages: 9 Kilbrandon Cottages, Seil self-catering holiday cottage accommodation, is furnished and decorated to a high standard, with total control electric central heating and double glazing, and well insulated.

The spacious sitting room is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, a library of books, guidebooks, DVDs, games and information about many fantastic walks and other local attractions. The generous dining area looks out to trees at the rear of the cottage, with lots of activity around the bird feeders.

The spacious kitchen is furnished to a high standard with fridge/freezer, washer/tumble dryer, electric oven, grill and hob and microwave, along with an extensive range of other kitchen equipment and full range of crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and utensils.

The two bedrooms are comfortably furnished, one with a king-sized double bed and the other with two singles. All beds are fitted with electric blankets, and all bed linen is provided, along with bath, hand and tea towels. The bedroom windows offer wide views over the village and the 9-hole Balvicar golf course to the surrounding countryside and hills. The upstairs bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with shower over, bidet, toilet and basin. There is a second toilet and basin downstairs.

The garden is equipped with garden bench, table and chairs and, facing south-west, can be a real suntrap with spectacular sunsets. Roadside parking is available next to the cottage. A cot, high chair and stair gate are available on request free of charge.

Situated just south of Oban, the Island of Seil is linked to the Scottish mainland by the famous �Bridge over the Atlantic�. Seil is the most northerly of the Slate Islands, with the other islands of Easdale and Luing reached by short ferry journeys. It is a wonderful area for walking, birdwatching, cycling, boating and fishing, and is ideally situated for exploring the other attractions of the West Highlands and the Islands.

The busy town of Oban is just 14 miles away, with a wide range of shops and restaurants and ferries to the Hebrides. Further north, the magnificent mountains of Lochaber and Glencoe are easily reached, as are the many glorious gardens of Argyll.
