Aberlour is, of course, at the heart of Malt Whisky Country with many of the world's best known Malt Whisky Distilleries situated in and around the village. In May each year the village hosts numerous events for The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival which attracts whisky enthusiasts from around the world.
