Fraoch Lodge?s location is an absolute winner; situated within the Cairngorm National Park in the peaceful Highland village of Boat of Garten, next to the River Spey & on the edge of the RSPB?s huge Abernethy Forest Reserve. The area without doubt holds one of the richest habitats. A walk through the native Caledonian pine forest reveals little has changed since the last glaciers disappeared 10 000 years ago.

Come the end of the mountain day we don't abandon you at your accommodation until the next morning. We provide for you throughout your stay. After a fantastic day you arrive back to a welcoming mug of tea and some of Rebecca's home baking, & then one of her fantastic evening meals. This, the shared camaraderie of a like-minded group & the totally informal atmosphere make for a brilliant holiday. It can't be beat!
