The Hebridean Explorer: The Hebridean Explorer is a small family run private tour company based near Inverness specialising in private group tours covering the Scottish Highlands and Islands including Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, the Outer Hebrides and Orkney.
One Day Tours are available from Inverness and the Scottish Highlands. Multi-Day Tours can begin from anywhere in Scotland including Glasgow and Edinburgh. We can arrange Private Tours throughout the Scottish Highlands and Islands for groups up to 8. Tours can be from 1 to 7 days and we can collect from any of Scotland's major airports and cities

Your driver/guide, John Macdonald, is a native of the Hebridean Island of Lewis and was raised in a Gaelic speaking family. With a passion for the Highlands and particularly the Hebrides, he aims to ensure that you experience the magic of our beautiful country with the highest level of service and hospitality

We use an air conditioned Mercedes Traveliner with a maximum of 8 passengers for our tours to ensure your comfort and safety.
With 8 full-sized seats and a more elevated position than a saloon car, your group can enjoy a better view of the beautiful scenery of the Highlands and Islands
