Grampian
Grampian has well over fifty golf courses, from parkland and moorland courses to traditional seaside links. Grampian proves to be one of the best for excellent and challenging courses. There is quality and character associated with dozens of 'local' courses peppered throughout this area.
You could tee off at the highest hole in Britain at
Dufftown
, or weave your way through the grassy dunes of
Peterhead
. Play the back nine at
Ellon
surrounded by mature woodland, or test your skills at
Braemar
with the amazing backdrop of Glenshee. In summer months the days in
Grampian
last longer and good golfing can be played in decent light up to around 10 PM.
Whatever course you choose to play, you will be surrounded by beautiful scenery that differs from course to course, area by area. Whether you play or just visit you are guaranteed to have a fulfilling and exciting time and will always be welcomed back time and time again. Enjoy your Golf!
Moray or the
Malt Whisky Country
as it is affectionately known has fifteen golf courses and two driving ranges. These courses enjoy great weather as the Moray Coast is recognised for having one of the best climates in Britain with rainfall on a par with Rome. Banff & Buchan is well known for its association with fishing and agriculture, boasting eleven courses. Ten of them are located around coastal towns and one course,
Turriff
, is inland.
Aberdeenshire, tagged the Rural Heartland & Castle Country, is famed for its fertile ground and regarded as some of the best in the land with 14 courses. Probably the best known is the Hawkshill Course at Newmacher, which has been a chosen venue for the Scottish Seniors Championship for the last two years running. It has also been host to an SPGA Championship. Royal Deeside. Whether it be on dramatic seascapes or set in the rolling glens, you have no less than eight admirable courses to choose from.
The Granite City of
Aberdeen
known for its Oil Industry, Shopping Malls and University has a rich variety of golfing facilities. There are thirteen courses and one golf centre providing a driving range, indoor & outdoor putter, professional tuition and much more.
