This community of about 500 people is north of the bridge. It sits at the junction of two routes off the main A9 road to Inverness, so you won’t have any difficulty driving here when you choose this as your vacation destination.

The area of Dulnain Bridge has many exciting opportunities for visitors to enjoy. If you are interested in visiting castles, then you have certainly come to the right place. Conveniently located near four castles, you can spend your time browsing through the rooms and delightful flower gardens. Take Aberdeenshire’s Castle Trail to visit the ruins of the medieval Urquhart Castle, the rock garden of Ballindalloch Castle, Cawdor Castle, with its superb gardens and river walk and Brodie Castle.

There are also many monuments in the area of Dulnain Bridge for the history buff on vacation. See Sueno’s Stone, a huge Pictish stone and the Stone Age burial mounds with cup marked stones at the Clava Cairns.

If you like walking, there is a wealth of opportunities for you to enjoy in Dulnain Bridge.
