Set amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Europe, Pitlochry is a small Victorian town located on the River Tummel, just a few miles away from Dunkeld and only 45 minutes drive from Perth. The history of this town goes back to 208, when Roman forces built forts at each end of the valley. Queen Victoria visited here in the 1860’s and ever since that time it is a popular resort town. The town was originally three smaller hamlets and all that remains of those earlier times are two small cottages you see on the way to the Golf Course.
